Dan received his B.A. in Religion from Hope College. He is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and currently practices at Health Quest in Lake Orion, MI. He also teaches workshops for yoga teachers on anatomy and safe alignment principles for injury prevention through his business, FunctionAtomy. Dan is the percussionist for their kirtan band, which has performed at various yoga studios in the metro Detroit and Windsor areas. They cut their debut album, Anahata, in 2011 which can be viewed here.

Erin has been seriously studying Yoga and Tibetan Buddhist philosophy for 12 years and has had a lifelong respect for our individual experiences of that mystical power we call "God".  She has a particular affinity for devotional singing (kirtan), music, and yoga and values the process of incorporating these principles into a transformative practice that empowers us each to find our own personally appropriate path to a fuller expression of Love in our lives.  Erin is a board certified veterinary oncologist, a certified veterinary acupuncturist, and Traditional Chinese Medicine veterinary herbologist at Oakland Veterinary Referral Services in Bloomfield Hills, MI. She is also a registered yoga teacher.

Dan and Erin co-founded ECHOS in 2005, a non-profit community experiencing our personal connection to God, Yoga and Music together for a expansive and inclusive spiritual practice and life. For many years they led weekly ECHOS gatherings exploring the intersection of Christianity and Buddhism. Erin was, later, instrumental in founding the non-profit organization The Mandala Center along with members of the local yoga community in order to support spiritual teachings from out-of-town lecturers and provide weekly teachings on Buddhism, in the lineage of the Dalai Lama, to the Rochester and Metro-Detroit yoga community. Erin was a senior teacher for The Mandala Center Tuesday night Buddhist study group. The Mandala Center was retired a few years ago, leaving many fond memories and a great appreciation for the friends and spiritual family that have become such an important part of our lives. The Sacred Circle vision was born in 2014 out of the understanding that community is vital to a healthy human journey, and the desire to share our journey with the people we love. Erin teamed up with her mom to create Sacred Circle Dreamers in 2014, and Dan and Erin continue to hold monthly groups at their home.
